05:00 PM – Hotel Pickup & Heritage Walk
Your private guide and driver will pick you up from your Varanasi hotel. Head towards the riverfront and enjoy a brief guided walk through the lively, colourful local lanes leading to the ghats.
05:45 PM – Boarding the Private Wooden Boat
Step onto your private traditional wooden boat at the historic Dashashwamedh Ghat or Rajendra Prasad Ghat. As the sun begins to set, your boatman will glide across the water away from the bustling shores.
06:00 PM – Pre-Aarti Ghat Cruise & Manikarnika Glimpse
Cruise along the river to see the magnificent architecture of the ancient palaces built by kings. Drift respectfully past Manikarnika Ghat (The Burning Ghat) to understand the profound spiritual cycle of life and death in Hinduism.
06:30 PM – Front-Row Evening Ganga Aarti Experience
The boat will anchor in a prime position on the water facing Dashashwamedh Ghat. Watch the spectacular Ganga Aarti unfold. Hear the rhythmic chanting of mantras, the blowing of conch shells, and witness young priests gracefully swirling massive brass multi-tiered fire lamps in perfect synchronisation.
07:30 PM – Diya Floating & Spiritual Wishes
As the ceremony concludes, light your own eco-friendly leaf-boat diya (clay lamp with flowers) and gently float it onto the sacred Ganges while making a personal wish.
08:00 PM – Return to Shore & Hotel Drop-off
Head back to the riverbank. Your chauffeur will meet you at the designated point and drive you safely back to your hotel or preferred location in Varanasi, concluding a magical spiritual evening.
