Begin at the Hakodate Jomon Culture Centre and nearby Kakinoshima Site, one of the component sites of the UNESCO World Heritage “Jomon Prehistoric Sites in Northern Japan.” Discover Jomon culture through pottery, stone tools, and archaeological finds from the region.
The centre also displays the famous Hollow Dogu, or Chuku Dogu, designated a National Treasure of Japan and one of Hokkaido’s most significant Jomon artefacts.
Continue to Shikabe Geyser Park, where volcanic activity powers a natural geyser. Watch hot water erupt from the ground and enjoy the natural hot spring footbath when available. Lunch can be arranged in the Shikabe or Onuma area depending on your preferences and the day’s schedule.
Visit Yamakawa Farm Milk Plant near Onuma and sample locally produced milk, soft-serve ice cream, and other dairy products available at the farm shop.

This is a private charter rather than a fixed-schedule group tour. Within the total 9-hour charter duration, you may adjust the time spent at each destination and make minor changes within the same general tour area, subject to traffic, weather, road conditions, and attraction opening hours.
Please note that some attractions have regular closing days and seasonal opening hours. The Hakodate Jomon Culture Centre is generally closed on Mondays, the last Friday of each month, during the year-end/New Year period, and during an annual maintenance period. Shikabe Geyser Park has scheduled closing days in winter and over the year-end/New Year period. Yamakawa Farm Milk Plant is generally closed on Thursdays, with adjustments when Thursday falls on a public holiday. Some facilities operate shorter hours in winter.
Kakinoshima Site and Onuma Quasi-National Park may still be visited when nearby indoor facilities are closed, subject to weather, seasonal conditions, and access.
The visiting order may be adjusted according to seasonal and operating conditions. If an attraction is closed or unavailable due to regular closing days, maintenance, weather, or other operating conditions, your driver-guide will discuss a suitable nearby alternative or itinerary adjustment where possible.
