Know before you book

    • Public transport options are available nearby
    • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
    • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
    • Large bags, suitcases, or extra luggage are not automatically accepted on this tour. They can only be brought if our team approves the request before the service date and if the vehicle assigned to your reservation has enough available space. Travellers who need to bring luggage must contact us in advance so the transport setup can be reviewed. Space is limited, and authorisation is subject to the operation of the day. Approval should never be assumed.
    • Since April 21, 2026, archaeological sites in Mexico have applied security rules that restrict entry with backpacks, luggage, and similar belongings. For the visit, we recommend carrying only essential items. The most practical option is to bring small belongings that can fit in your pockets or in a compact personal bag. Some items, such as nappy bags, may be considered exceptions, but the final decision is made directly by the security personnel at the entrance. We are not responsible for any item that is refused by the archaeological site. During this tour, travellers may leave belongings inside the transport vehicle while completing the scheduled visits.
    • Access to the bus or minibus is only allowed at the official boarding time announced by the guide or staff. Guests may not enter the vehicle ahead of schedule, and they may not remain inside while the rest of the group is away. This rule is applied because other travellers may have belongings stored inside the vehicle, and controlled access helps protect everyone’s personal items.
    • Transport units and seats are assigned by the operations team according to availability, route planning, group size, and the needs of the day. Guests cannot select a specific bus, minibus, seat, row, or space through the platform, at pickup, or directly with staff. Although our team will always try to keep the ride comfortable, no exact vehicle or seat can be reserved, blocked, or guaranteed.
    • If you are travelling with friends, relatives, or another group under a different booking, please notify us before the tour date if you would like to travel together. When all travellers depart from the same accommodation, our team may try to coordinate the request, although it is not guaranteed. If the pickup points are in the same city but at different hotels, we may review the possibility, but travelling together still cannot be assured. Reservations departing from different cities cannot be coordinated in the same vehicle.
    • This tour only includes pickup from the cities and zones listed in the Transport section of the product. Travellers cannot join the experience directly at Chichen Itza, at any attraction on the itinerary, or at any location outside the approved pickup coverage. For example, arriving at Chichen Itza in your own vehicle to meet the group is not permitted. Pickup from a hotel within the listed service area, such as Moon Palace Resort, may be possible depending on the coverage shown for the tour. For safety, communication, and proper organisation, every traveller must meet our team in the morning at the assigned pickup point, board the official transport, and complete the required check-in process before the tour begins.
    • If your reservation does not yet include a confirmed hotel or meeting point, this information must be sent to our team no later than the day before the tour. From Monday to Saturday, the cut-off time is 21:50 hrs, GMT-5. On Sundays, the cut-off time is 8:00 PM, GMT-5. The information may be sent through any available contact channel. After the cut-off time, last-minute pickup arrangements can no longer be processed. If the required hotel or meeting point is not received on time, the reservation will automatically move to the next available date. This change has no additional cost, fee, or penalty. However, once the automatic rescheduling has been applied, the booking will no longer be eligible for a refund.
    • The durations shown in the itinerary describe the full time assigned to each segment of the route. These times may include transport between locations, the visit itself, activity time, boarding, organisation, and the time needed to continue or return along the itinerary. They should not be interpreted as the exact amount of time spent only inside each attraction. Please use the itinerary as an approximate guide to the overall flow of the day.
    • Our team works to keep the experience as close as possible to the planned schedule. However, the timing of the tour also depends on guests being ready at pickup and returning on time at every stop. Traffic, road conditions, and route-related delays may also affect the schedule and are outside our control. Please follow the meeting times indicated by the guide and respect the time assigned at each location. Even a very small delay can accumulate during the day and affect the rest of the operation.
    • The box lunch included with this experience is a fixed standard option. It cannot be changed, replaced, or adapted for dietary needs, food restrictions, allergies, personal preferences, or special requests.
    • This experience includes a considerable amount of walking. Comfortable shoes and practical clothing are recommended so travellers can move around more easily throughout the day.
    • Lunch is served as a regional Mexican buffet. Travellers may choose from the food available at the restaurant, including vegetarian options. At this time, the buffet cannot be customised for other specific dietary requirements, restrictions, allergies, or personal meal preferences.

Activity itinerary

Riviera Maya

  • 3h
The experience begins in Playa del Carmen and Riviera Maya with morning pickup and check-in for the shared transport. After travellers board and the group is organised, the route heads inland towards Yucatan and the Chichen Itza region. This first part of the day is the transition from the Caribbean coast to a route shaped by archaeology, cenote waters, local food, and colonial scenery.

Chichen Itza

  • 3h
Before arriving at the archaeological site, the route may include a short stop near points of interest close to Chichen Itza. Once the group reaches the area, travellers will continue with the guides towards the entrance for the main cultural visit of the day. Inside Chichen Itza, the guided portion lasts approximately 1 hour. The guide will explain the site’s history, architectural details, myths, cultural value, and importance within the ancient Maya world. After the guided visit, travellers will have about 1 hour of free time to walk through the site independently, take photos, visit souvenir areas, or purchase a drink or snack before meeting the group again.

Suytun Cenote

  • 1h 30m
After Chichen Itza, the tour continues towards Suytun Cenote. The drive from the archaeological area takes approximately 45 minutes. This stop introduces a different side of the day, replacing stone temples and open plazas with cool freshwater and one of Yucatan’s most recognisable cenote settings. Cenotes had deep significance for the ancient Maya and were often associated with sacred beliefs and the underworld. At Suytun, travellers will have time to swim, enjoy the clear water, and experience a unique natural setting in the peninsula.

Cenote Ik kil

  • 1h 30m
The second cenote stop takes place at Ik Kil, a well-known natural site surrounded by tall rock walls, hanging vegetation, and a dramatic open-air atmosphere. Travellers will have approximately 45 minutes to swim and enjoy the refreshing water. Near Ik Kil, the experience also includes a buffet lunch with regional dishes and traditional Mexican flavours. This meal stop gives travellers time to eat, rest, and recharge before continuing towards the final visit of the day.

Valladolid

  • 1h
The final stop is Valladolid, a colonial city in Yucatan known for its colourful streets, relaxed rhythm, local traditions, and charming architecture. Travellers will have approximately 30 to 45 minutes of free time to walk around, take photos, enjoy the surroundings, and experience the local character of one of the region’s most representative historic towns.

Riviera Maya

  • 3h
After the visit to Valladolid, travellers will board the transport again and begin the return journey towards Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya. The ride back gives the group time to rest after a full day that included Chichen Itza, Suytun Cenote, Ik Kil Cenote, buffet lunch, and the colonial atmosphere of Valladolid. The tour concludes once travellers arrive at their confirmed drop-off points.
