We will explain the different constructive stages, starting from the old Visigothic Basilica of Saint Vincent, of which remains are still preserved, following the Primitive Mosque built by Emir Abderraman I and his successive extensions until the time of Almanzor. After the reconquest of the City by Christian armies, the Mosque becomes Cathedral, occupying several ships of Caliph al-Hakam II's expansion for the Liturgical celebrations.
