What you can expect

In a unique city like Budapest, it can be hard to know what to eat, but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. On our Budapest Food Tour, you’ll get priority service at four local eateries, enjoy a curated itinerary, and a set menu for fuss-free travel.

We’ll begin the tour at an old synagogue to provide a historical context for Hungarian cuisine, which is heavily influenced by Jewish culture and tradition. After a brief introduction, you’ll wander through the city’s former Jewish neighbourhood, District 7, now renowned for its nightlife. This tour will show you both the gritty and glamorous sides of the city. Soak up the bohemian atmosphere as you try street food, including traditional soup and Lángos, a deep-fried flatbread. After that, you'll get fancy at atmospheric eateries for a sit-down meal where you’ll try classics like nokedli dumplings and Flódni, a Jewish-Hungarian pastry. And of course, food is always better when you’re a bit tipsy, so you’ll indulge in local drinks like Pálinka and sweet wine from Tokaji, Hungary’s famed wine region.

Experience Budapest’s history and culture through its cuisine and make new friends along the way. What are you waiting for? Book now and get a taste of adventure.
