Golden Temple

After Breakfast at hotel, proceed to explore the city including a visit to Harmandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib also referred to as the Golden Temple. Maharaja Ranjit Singh covered the upper floors of the gurdwara with gold, thus giving it its distinctive appearance and English name of "Golden Temple". The temple has four entrances instead of the usual single entry, symbolic of the openness of Sikhism and the fact that followers of all faiths are welcome here. Duration: 120 Minutes approx. Jallianwala Bagh

Visit Jallianwala Bagh which marks the site of one of the major heinous political crimes committed by the British during the twentieth century popularly known as the Amritsar Massacre. Duration: 30 Minutes approx. Admission Ticket Included

Amritsar

Proceed to authentic Meal i.e. Amritsari Kulcha with Sweet Lassi. Amritsari Kulcha is well known baked bread stuffed with mix vegetables and spices whereas Sweet Lassi is hung curd with sweetness. Duration: 30 Minutes approx. Admission Ticket Included

Wagah Border

Afternoon proceeds to visit the Wagah Border – Approximately a 45 minute drive one-way and witness the changing of guard ceremony. Wagah is the only land border open between Pakistan and India.
