What you can expect

  • Our transfer service from the door of your hotel in Tikal National Park to San Ignacio or Belize City, we organise it as follows:
  • 6:00 a.m. We arrive for you at your hotel in Tikal National Park, the driver will take a list with your names, we board our transport unit and drive for approximately 40 minutes until we reach the Ixlu crossing (junction of Tikal, Flores and the border with Belize) at this point we will change bus, (change coordinated by us) we will board the shared bus in which we will drive to our destination.
  • We will be given Migratory Forms for the Migration process to enter Belize, we drive for an hour and a half until we arrive at the border of Guatemala with Belize.
  • At the border, we get off the bus to complete the immigration and customs procedures.
  • The procedures are personal, all travellers must carry their luggage.
  • At the border we will find stores to buy drinks and snacks.
  • First we do the paperwork in Guatemala Immigration and then we walk 100 metres and arrive at Belize Immigration.
  • If any passenger has a problem with Immigration, there will be a waiting time of 20 minutes, otherwise our transport unit must continue.
  • When we finish with the immigration procedures we board the bus again and we drive for approximately 25 minutes until we arrive to our first destination San Ignacio.
  • For those passengers who are going to San Ignacio we will drop them off at hotels in city centre San Ignacio (Hold House, Bellas Backpakers, Yellow Belly).
  • After our stop in San Ignacio we continue to Belize City, we drive for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes more until we arrive to our second destination.
  • In Belize City we arrive at the San Pedro Belize Express Terminal (Belize City) where you can take Ferry connections to Caye Caulker, San Pedro Ambergris as well as Taxi if you are heading to the Belize International Airport.
  • At the San Pedro Belize Express Terminal you will find stores, restaurants, and cab service.
