HOTEL PICK-UP (7:45 AM – 8:00 AM)
We start the sightseeing tour with pick-up from your hotel in the city of Puno and then depart for the Quechua area of the highlands.
LAMPA – PINK CITY
Our first visit will be to Lampa, known as the Pink City. We will walk through its colonial streets and visit the Santiago Apóstol Parish Church (1675), declared a National Monument. We'll see its catacombs and a replica of Michelangelo's La Pietà.
PUCARÁ
We continue to Pucará, the cradle of one of the oldest cultures in the Altiplano. We will visit the Lithic Museum, where important archaeological pieces from the Pucará culture are exhibited. This culture is also known for its traditional toritos. Here we'll enjoy a box lunch.
TINAJANI CANYON
The tour culminates at the breathtaking Tinajani Canyon, a little-explored natural jewel. We will take a light hike of approximately 3 km (30 to 45 minutes), passing by vantage points and rock formations with reddish hues, including the iconic Roca del Vigilante.
RETURN TO PUNO
After the visit, we will begin the return to the city of Puno, arriving at approximately 7:00 PM.
