HOTEL PICK-UP (7:45 AM – 8:00 AM)
We begin the tour with pick-up from your hotel in the city of Puno, then depart for the Quechua region of the highlands.
LAMPA – THE PINK CITY
Our first stop will be Lampa, known as the Pink City. We will stroll through its colonial streets and visit Santiago Apóstol Parish Church (1675), which has been declared a National Monument. We will explore its catacombs and see a replica of Michelangelo's La Pietà.
PUCARÁ
We will continue on to Pucará, the cradle of one of the oldest cultures in the Altiplano. We will visit the Lithic Museum, which displays important archaeological pieces from the Pukara culture, also known for its traditional bull figurines. Here, we will enjoy a box lunch.
TINAJANI CANYON
The tour culminates at the breathtaking Tinajani Canyon, a little-known natural gem. We will go on a leisurely hike of approximately 3 km (30 to 45 minutes), passing by viewpoints and reddish rock formations, including the iconic Roca del Vigilante.
RETURN TO PUNO
After the tour, we will begin our return journey to the city of Puno, arriving at approximately 7:00 PM.
