Day 1:The journey begins when we pick you up in Manaus at 08:00 am. We head to Ceasa Port, where we board a speedboat, with a first stop along the Rio Negro River to the Meeting of the Waters. Continue with a 1-hour drive to Ariau Village, followed by a 20–50 minute speedboat ride to the lodge. Travel time by boat may vary depending on the water level. 11:30 am – Arrival at Amazon Iuna Lodge, welcome drinks, and check-in. 12:00 pm – Lunch at the lodge. At 03:00 pm – Depart by motorised canoe for piranha fishing and watch colourful birds, and enjoy an incredible sunset from the middle of the river. After returning to the lodge, dinner will be served at 7:00 pm.After dinner, go on an exciting nighttime boat tour for caiman spotting.
Overnight at the lodge.Day 2:Enjoy breakfast at 7:00 A.M. before setting off on a morning jungle trek. As you hike, learn about the flora, fauna, and medicinal plants found only in the Amazon from your guide. Return to the lodge around noon for lunch. Then, at 3:00 pm, you’ll explore the archipelago of Anavilhanas by boat. From February to August, this trip is made by walking in the jungle, as it is the dry season. Day 3: 05:30 am – 06:30 am – Early morning canoe trip to observe the sunrise and enjoy the peaceful sounds of the waking rainforest.Return to the lodge for breakfast.
Visit an indigenous village, participate in a traditional welcome ritual, and have the opportunity to buy handcrafted souvenirs made by the local community.
Afterwards, visit a floating dock where you can interact with river dolphins.. If you have chosen the 3-day option, begin your journey back to Manaus after Lunch , With the Depature at 01:30 pm .We will begin our journey back to Manaus, with an estimated arrival time of 03:30 pm. If you have chosen a longer tour, the group will visit the local community and learn more about their culture by living among the Acajatuba lake . During the visit, there is an opportunity to lear about the process of mandioca (cassava) and the proteins that it have for the melas of the Local Native peole of the Amazon. Back to the lodge.Day 4:07:30 am: Breakfast at the lodge.Explore the Ariau River, with opportunities to spot wildlife, as this is a small tributary of the Amazon River rich in wildlife. Enjoy the natural scenery, and go swimming in the river.(During the dry season, there is a beach )Return to the lodge for lunch.
If you have chosen the 4-day option, begin your journey back to Manaus after Lunch at 01:30 pm. We will begin our journey back to Manaus, with an estimated arrival time of 03:30 pm.
