What you can expect

  • Day 1: Kampala – Ziwa Rhino Tracking – Murchison Falls

    Depart Kampala or Entebbe early and drive north through rural Uganda. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience on foot. Continue to Murchison Falls National Park and visit the Top of the Falls, where the Nile dramatically squeezes through a narrow gorge. Overnight at your lodge.

    Day 2: Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise

    Start with an early morning game drive on the northern plains, searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile to the base of the falls, where you will see hippos, crocodiles, and animals along the riverbanks. Return to your lodge for overnight.

    Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park

    After breakfast, drive to western Uganda through scenic landscapes of tea plantations and hills. Arrive at Kibale National Park, known for its rich primate population. Optional visit to Bigodi Wetland. Overnight at your lodge.

    Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking – Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Track chimpanzees in Kibale Forest with experienced guides. After the trek, continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying scenic views along the way. Optional evening game drive. Overnight at your lodge.

    Day 5: Game Drive – Ishasha – Bwindi

    Enjoy a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Continue through the Ishasha sector in search of tree-climbing lions before heading to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Overnight at your lodge.

    Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

    After briefing, head into the forest for gorilla trekking. Once the gorillas are located, spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat. Return to your lodge for relaxation and overnight.

    Day 7: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

    Drive to Lake Mburo National Park after breakfast. Enjoy an afternoon game drive or guided walking safari, with chances to see zebras, giraffes, and antelopes. Overnight at your lodge.

    Day 8: Return to Kampala or Entebbe

    After breakfast, return to Kampala or Entebbe with a stop at the Equator for photos and souvenirs, marking the end of your safari.
