What you can expect
We’re welcome and take our guests for a depart for Pamukkale , While we’re on the road, our tour guide will inform us about the tour programme and possible actions. Hierapolis is an ancient city located near Pamukkale (Denizli). In the information given by the ancient geographers Strabon and Ptolemy, it is claimed that Hierapolis was a Phrygian city with its proximity to the cities of Laodikeia and Tripolis, which border the Caria region. Although the information about the establishment of the city is limited; During the Kingdom of Pergamon II. It is known that it was founded by Eumenes at the beginning of the 2nd century BC and named Hierapolis because of the Amazons queen Hiera, the wife of Telephos, the legendary founder of Pergamon. Hierapolis maintained its original texture by adhering to Hellenistic urbanisation principles until the great earthquake in 60 AD during the reign of Roman Emperor Nero. Whlie we arrived the city we can use our Museum Cards to enter or we can own one in the entrance. Also those who want to go to Kleopatra swimming area, we have a 2-3 hour free time for those guests. After taking a look at the ancient city, our next stop is Karahayıt village, which is famous for its healing water. We can have our lunch here accompanied by our guide. As the last free time and lunch break we’re going to prepare for our way to return Izmir.
