- New Docks, Galway, Ireland | Directions to Ferry Gate: If heading towards Galway city take the first entrance on the left of the Galway Harbour Hotel (H91 E9PR). If leaving Galway city take the second entrance on the right of the Galway Harbour Hotel. Then proceed straight where you will be prompted by signs to turn left (on foot) into a car park. All passengers must travel through this car park to board the ferry. Passengers should arrive at the ferry gate 30 minutes prior to the ferry departure time. Parking at the Port of Galway: This ferry booking does not include parking. Parking is available at the Harbour Company indoor public car park which is marked with a blue 'Public Parking' sign. This car park is fully automated “pay on foot”. There are 100 spaces in total and these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
