Get to know Frankfurt from its most enjoyable side. On this special Ebbelwoi tour, you can expect selected tastings of high-quality apple wine specialities, exciting stories, and fascinating insights into more than 1,200 years of Frankfurt's city history.

From the Magazin Store, you embark on a journey of discovery through the historic old town and learn how closely the fate of Frankfurt is linked to its most famous drink. At selected stops, you will taste different cider specialities and learn about the traditions, rituals and particularities that make Ebbelwoi Frankfurt's cult drink to this day.

While the tastings form the tour's flavourful common thread, the stories lead you to the people and events that have shaped Frankfurt. You will encounter emperors, poets, Frankfurt originals, and surprising anecdotes that even many locals don't know. You will learn how apple wine found its way to Frankfurt, why it was once considered a drink of the common people, and how it developed over the centuries into a symbol of the Frankfurt way of life.

On the way from the Old Town to Sachsenhausen, new perspectives on the city open up again and again – from medieval streets and historic squares to impressive views of the modern skyline. A special stop also takes you to Josef and Dayanna's Apfelweinkontor & Artbembel, where modern cider culture, passion for craftsmanship, and creative Frankfurt Bembel art meet.

History, enjoyment and the Frankfurt way of life combine to create an experience that goes far beyond a classic city tour or a simple tasting.

This tour is for those who want to not only see Frankfurt, but also understand and taste it.
