To find it, look for the riverside Mermaid Monument (not the mermaid statue in the Old Town Market Square) and take the steps from it down to the river; the barge is on your right. Walk through the barge towards the glass doors at the back – our wooden boat is moored on the other side. The meeting point is also shown in the photos.

What you can expect

  • Embark on a river cruise from the Warsaw Mermaid Monument, following picturesque boulevards and passing under three bridges to the Old and New Towns. Hop onboard the Galar Wiślany, a wooden boat with two indoor and outdoor decks for all-weather comfort.

    En route, encounter landmarks such as the Copernicus Science Centre, the Museum of Modern Art, and the entrance to the Port of Prague. Witness the greenery of right-bank Warsaw, a rarity in Europe.

    On the way back, sail past the PGE Narodowy National Stadium and Poniatówka beach.
