What you can expect

  • Explore Cisneros, Antioquia: a destination steeped in history and nature, located just one hour from Medellín.

We'll kick off our adventure with a tour of El Limón, where you'll learn about its railway heritage by visiting places that tell the storey of this region, which was strategic for the development of Antioquia. You'll stroll through its quiet streets while a local guide tells you about key moments from the past.

We'll then continue with a hike along a nature trail surrounded by native vegetation. The hike will take you to La Chorrera Waterfall, a cascade that's approximately 400 metres high. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by a cool breeze and a spectacular view. For the locals, this waterfall represents the hair of the goddess Nusica, a pre-Columbian legacy that lives on in the ancestral memory of the territory.

A complete experience that invites you to rediscover the region, connect with its people, and experience the magic of Cisneros, all just an hour away from Medellín.

After descending from the waterfall, we'll take a ride through the La Quiebra Tunnel on a local form of transport called a moto rodillo. This is like a small train that we'll take on a return to the other side of La Quiebra Mountain. Finally, you'll have the option of taking a tuk-tuk to the urban area and Cisneros Park.
