Catch your first waves at El Palmar, one of the most consistent beach breaks in southern Spain, with Surf Club El Palmar – a local surf school right on the beachfront.

How the lesson works: after a short briefing and warm-up on the sand, beginners learn paddling, popping up, balance and ocean safety; more experienced surfers work on wave selection, positioning and manoeuvres. Lesson times follow the tides, so you always surf in the best conditions of the day.
Who it's for: adults and children aged 10+, from total beginners to intermediate surfers. For younger kids (from 5 years) book our private lesson.
Everything is included: wetsuit, surfboard, leash and insurance. We are on the El Palmar beachfront promenade, next to Parking La Orilla and El Havanita, with on-site parking.
