What you can expect

  • Begin your private tour with a pickup from your hotel in Dublin. Travel in a luxury vehicle to the Boyne Valley, known as the birthplace of Ireland's Ancient East.

Visit ancient monuments such as the magnificent 10th-century Celtic Cross at Monasterboice. Then, head to the Hill of Slane and see the statue of Saint Patrick where he lit his pascal fire.

After lunch, visit Slane Distillery, set in the restored 18th-century stable block of Slane Castle. Begin with a warm welcome and an Irish Coffee as your host shares the history of Slane Castle and its whisky.

Enjoy an in-depth distillery tour, exploring the triple cask maturation process, followed by a deconstructed tasting to experience the unique flavours of Slane Irish Whisky.
