Dora Observatory, perched atop the Dorasan Mountain near the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ), offers travellers a unique vantage point to witness the stark contrast between North and South Korea. As visitors approach the observatory, they are greeted by sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the heavily fortified border and the distant silhouette of North Korean landmarks. From the observation deck, travellers can use binoculars to peer into North Korea, catching glimpses of rural villages, military installations, and the iconic propaganda village of Kijong-dong.
