*7:00 AM: Pick-up and Drive to Kirindy Forest. Your guide and driver meet you at your Morondava airport or hotel. Enjoy a scenic drive of about 2 hours to the Relais de Kirindy. *9:00 AM: Guided Walk in Kirindy Forest On arrival, explore the dry deciduous forest with an experienced local guide. This 2 to 3 hour trek offers a chance to see: Several species of wild lemurs,The fossa, Madagascar’s elusive top predator,Endemic birds and unique plants. *12:00 PM: Lunch and Rest at Relais de Kirindy Return to the hotel restaurant to freshen up, enjoy lunch, and relax during the hottest part of the day. Please bring: sun cream, a hat, and mosquito repellent. The sun is very strong in this region. *2:00 PM: Baobab Sites on the Way Back to Morondava. Leaving Kirindy, we follow the same road and stop at: -Sacred Baobab (Baobab Sacré) -Baobabs in Love (Baobabs Amoureux), two entwined trees Sunset: Baobab Avenue Watch the sky change colour behind Madagascar’s most famous row of giant baobabs, a highlight for photographers. After sunset, we continue to Morondava town and drop you at your hotel. The rest of the evening is free.
