Overview

Embark on a delectable journey through the sweet and savoury world of chocolate on our chocolate experience tour. This immersive experience takes you from the cacao tree to the finished product, offering insights into the fascinating process of chocolate production.

Follow the journey of the cacao beans as they undergo fermentation and drying, crucial steps in enhancing the distinct flavours that characterise high-quality chocolate. The tour includes a hands-on experience, allowing you to participate in these traditional processes and gain a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship behind chocolate making.

After this great adventure, our tour will continue with a short drive to Tarcoles River, where a 60 minutes eco boat tour will allow you to enjoy the abundant wildlife of the area, including the huge crocodiles, multiple aquatic birds, scarlet macaws, howler monkeys and other amazing tropical species.

Vista Los Sueños Adventure Park is a premier 450-acre eco-adventure park located in the Central Pacific region, just minutes north of Jacó near Herradura. It is a highly professional, certified sustainable facility offering a diverse lineup of outdoor experiences. Popular activities include a 10-cable zipline canopy tour with expansive rainforest views, rugged quad bike and buggy jungle trails that lead to private swimmable waterfalls, horseback riding, extreme canyoning/waterfall rappelling, and an interactive chocolate tour. Enjoy a pleasant boat tour with a professional naturalist tour guide and enjoy its rich and abundant wildlife. It is a habitat for American crocodiles, while the marshes located at the river's mouth have many waterfowl and wading birds. Among the many herons and egrets are the boatbill and bare-throated tiger heron, and other birds found here include double-striped thick-knee, mangrove warbler and American pygmy kingfisher. The total list known of birds well exceeds 320 species including the little known Guacalillo Canals. The avian biodiversity is substantial including rare birds such as Agami Heron, Rufous-necked Woodrail, Jabiru, Yellow-billed Cotinga and recently found an Orinoco Goose. It's also home of Howler and White-faced Capuchin Monkeys. Less commonly seen are Silky Anteater, Sloths, Grinson, Jaguarundi, River Otter and Northern Tamandua
