With its irregular façade, reminiscent of a quarry, it was given the nickname "La Pedrera". This unique building has been a World Heritage Site since 1984. It is particularly remarkable that there is not a single right angle to be found in the entire building, which emphasises the extraordinary architecture. Even from the outside, Casa Milà impresses with its undulating façade and curved wrought iron balconies. The organic shapes and structures, inspired by nature, give the building its unique character.
