Meet your guide, who will be holding a Pandasee flag at Exit A of Panda Avenue Station (South Gate of the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding). They will take you on a clean, air-conditioned public bus to Chengdu Panda Base; the journey takes 10 minutes. Because your admission ticket has been bought in advance, you can skip the ticket line and enter the panda base directly.
The panda base opens at 7:30 AM, but the workers start at 8:00 AM and normally release the pandas into the outdoor enclosure for breakfast at 8:30 AM. Your guide knows every corner of the base and follows a special, efficient route that lets you see more active pandas while avoiding the crowds. You will see over 30 black-and-white giant pandas, 20 red pandas, peacocks, and black swans.
After you have enjoyed seeing these lovely creatures, your guide will escort you to the public bus back to the Line No. 3 metro station before noon.
