Ardales se encuentra a unos 12 km del acceso norte de Caminito del Rey y es fácilmente accesible desde la carretera. Hay zona de parking al lado del museo. El transporte se hará en coches privado (no está incluido) y se compartirán coches entre los participantes para ir en el menor número de coches posible y evitar emisiones de carbono inncesarias. Antes de llegar la punto de encuentro deben tener ya preparada su mochila con la comida y bebida necesaria para pasar el día. Al salir de la introducción en el museo cogeremos los coches para ir hasta la entrada de la cueva.

  • Begin your journey at the Ardales Prehistoric Museum, at only 12km away from Caminito del Rey north access, where you'll meet your guide and learn about the history of the area.

    Then, head to the Ardales Cave, one of the most important Palaeolithic sanctuaries in Europe. With over 65,000 years of history, this cave is a scientific site with extremely limited access to ensure the preservation of its rock art.

    Next is a quick visit to Bobastro, located between Caminito's north and south acces, a unique Mozarabic rock city that tells the complex history of the region and its cultural resistance. Enjoy a brief guided tour of this fascinating site.

    Finally, head to the Caminito del Rey, a spectacular path through the Gaitanes Gorge. Walk along the path in the afternoon, when 80% of the route is in the shade, making it a more pleasant experience, especially in the summer.
