Getting Here Is Easy

Reaching Ulriken is simple and convenient:

Ulriken Express Bus operates from the Fish Market in Bergen city centre from April 1st to September 30th. Tickets are purchased onboard. The journey takes less than 15 minutes and passes through charming Bergen areas, offering a glimpse into local life.

During the rest of the year, take Light Rail Line 2 (Bybanen) from Bergen city centre.

The Ulriken Shuttle also runs from the cruise harbours in Bergen during spring and summer, departing every half hour.

From the lower station, the cable car departs every 5 minutes between April 1st and September 30th. The ride to the top takes just 5 minutes.

At the summit, the possibilities are endless.

Take a scenic 45-minute hike along a marked trail to Ulriken’s highest peak, or simply relax and enjoy the panoramic views from our various viewpoints. Our spacious terrace features an open grill, and we also offer outdoor grilling on the mountain plateau. With approximately 350 outdoor seats — in addition to the vast natural surroundings — you can easily find your own peaceful spot.
