What you can expect

  • Begin your experience by stepping into a tranquil studio, a peaceful oasis away from the bustling city. Be welcomed with a tea ceremony and a short, fascinating introduction to the 2,000-year history of the Chinese sachet (Xiang Nang), from noble adornment to a symbol of wellness and good fortune.

Next, meet the herbs. Smell and learn about a selection of 6-8 natural Chinese herbs (e.g., Lavender, Chrysanthemum, Clove, Mugwort) and their uses. Using a small scale, mix your chosen herbs to create a signature scent that suits your needs.

Then, select your favourite embroidered silk pouch. Fill it with your custom herb blend. Learn to seal it with a traditional Chinese knot and add decorative tassels or beads.

Finally, enjoy a final showcase of everyone's unique creations. Receive tips on how to use and preserve your sachet.
