What you can expect

  • I invite you to learn about a programme for the conservation of 3 species of sea turtles (olive ridley, green, and leatherback).

    This experience takes place on the Pacific coast. Palmarito Beach is home to a hatching camp run by a team of conservationists, who provide us with information about the characteristics of the sea turtle's life cycle.

    We'll meet baby turtles that are only 1 hour old, and we'll release them into the sea at sunset.

    Our experience lasts 2.5 hours, including the time for ground transport between Puerto Escondido and Palmarito Beach.
    Transport begins its route at 4:00 PM to pick up each of our guests from their accommodation.

    Playa Palmarito is located just 20 minutes from Puerto Escondido on Federal Highway 200 near Bajos de Chila.
