Departure by electric-assisted bicycle from Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, tour of the town passing by the main monuments: the Collegiate Church, Fort Saint-André, the Charterhouse and the Tower of Philip the Fair. The second part of the tour takes place in Avignon, passing along the banks of the Rhône River, the Pont Saint-Bénézet, various churches, paddle wheels, an old rampart, Roman ruins… It's a ride through the streets of Avignon and its historic sites that have shaped the city's life. Drop-off at our starting point after two hours of cycling and stops for photos.
The streets of Avignon are sometimes crowded with people, pedestrians, cyclists and cars.
You must be comfortable on a bike and know how to ride it well so that you can weave in and out if necessary.
You should not have any particular physical issues that would prevent you from getting on the bike easily (for example, hip problems or others…)
Bottle cage on the bike, up to 1 litre max; otherwise, bring a backpack.
