✨ Aso Boy Train Experience
This is no ordinary train! The sightseeing train is themed around the mascot “Kuro-chan,” a cute black dog, with adorable designs throughout the carriages. Enjoy panoramic seating and oversized windows that offer stunning views of Mount Aso and the surrounding countryside.
⏰ 10:56 AM Board the Aso Boy Train at the designated station and enjoy a fun and scenic ride.
⏰ 11:27 AM Arrive at Aso Station and meet your transfer bus. You may also take photos with the Usopp statue from One Piece.
✨ Kusasenri Grasslands (60 mins)
Walk across vast green volcanic plains and enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Aso. Experience open landscapes, grazing horses, and the natural beauty shaped by one of Japan’s most active volcanoes.
✨ Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine or Mount Aso Crater (30 mins)
Important Notice: Due to a recent helicopter incident, the Aso crater area is currently closed for safety reasons. During the closure, the visit will be replaced with Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine. If the crater reopens, the itinerary will be adjusted accordingly to visit Mount Aso Crater instead. Thank you for your understanding.

✨ Kumamoto Castle(Exterior Visit) (60 mins)
Arrive in Kumamoto City and visit one of Japan’s most iconic samurai castles from the outside. Admire its impressive stone walls and learn about its rich historical heritage.
You will also have time to enjoy local cuisine at Sakura-no-Baba Josaien, a nearby cultural complex featuring traditional food, souvenirs, and a lively castle-town atmosphere.
