What you can expect

  • Discover Agra’s most iconic sights on a private Taj Mahal tour followed by a meaningful visit to an Elephant Rescue Centre. Travel comfortably in a private air-conditioned car with your private local guide and enjoy convenient pickup and drop-off within Agra.

Begin with pickup from Agra Airport, Agra Cantt Railway Station, or any hotel located in Agra City. Choose an early 5:00 AM pickup if you would like to experience the Taj Mahal around sunrise, or select a later departure for a daytime visit.

Start your sightseeing at the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the world’s most celebrated monuments. Explore the gardens and marble complex with your private guide while learning about Emperor Shah Jahan, Mumtaz Mahal, Mughal architecture, and the fascinating history behind this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Next, continue to Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through its impressive courtyards, palaces, halls, and fortified gateways while discovering stories from the Mughal era and enjoying views across historic Agra.

Your meal experience depends on your selected departure time and booking option. Guests choosing the sunrise departure with the meal-inclusive option will enjoy a buffet breakfast at DoubleTree by Hilton Agra after the Taj Mahal visit. Guests taking a daytime departure with the meal-inclusive option will enjoy a buffet lunch at DoubleTree by Hilton Agra during the tour.

After exploring Agra’s Mughal landmarks, relax in your private car as you drive to the Elephant Rescue Centre near Agra.

At the rescue centre, learn about rescued elephants, their individual stories, rehabilitation, daily care, and long-term welfare. The visit is focused on education, observation, conservation, and responsible elephant care, offering a different perspective on elephant protection in India.

After completing your visit to the Elephant Rescue Centre, meet your driver and travel back to Agra. Your private tour concludes with drop-off at Agra Airport, Agra Cantt Railway Station, or your hotel in Agra City.

Depending on the option selected, your tour can include Taj Mahal and Agra Fort entry tickets, Elephant Rescue Centre entry, and a meal at DoubleTree by Hilton Agra.

Choose between Private Car + Guide or Private Car + Guide + Entry Tickets + Meal, allowing you to select the experience that best suits your travel plans.
