What you can expect

  • Meet your guide at Villa Carlotti, an elegant historic residence in the heart of Caprino Veronese. Explore the frescoed rooms of the famous ‘Sala dei Sogni’ and see important archaeological artefacts from local history. Admire the striking ‘Lamentation over the Dead Christ’, one of the finest and probably the oldest of its kind in Italian Gothic sculpture.

Through the collections and stories linked to the area, retrace the historical and cultural events of Caprino Veronese, the southern Lake Garda region, and Monte Baldo.

Next, head to one of the region’s main olive oil mills. Discover the journey of the olive from tree to bottle, exploring the production techniques of Garda extra virgin olive oil.

End your visit with an aperitif, an ideal experience for those wishing to discover the true essence of the Garda region through its historical and gastronomic heritage.
