What you can expect

Guided nature walk and historical storytelling, arrival at the Old Town entrance before peak hours
Duration: approx. 1.5 to 2 hours
Starting time: After sunrise (exact time provided upon booking; from 5.30-6 a.m./or 7.30 from October-March)
Perfect for: Nature lovers, early risers, photographers, and anyone who enjoys quiet moments paired with meaningful stories.

Begin your walking tour at the start of the footpath to Park Orsula, with the view to the City Wall and the Island of Lokrum. Hear about the general history of Dubrovnik, its historical landmarks, and ancient trade routes.

During the 20-minute walk up the scenic path, around 3000m from the historical centre of Dubrovnik, experience the Mediterranean landscape and learn how the city's natural environment and landscape have shaped its history and culture.

Depending on the season, we may encounter a variety of local plants. The wise sage, bitter orange, soothing lavender, and rosemary invite you to slow down and learn their stories before walking down to the Town.

On the way to the Old Town through St Jakov, one of the most peaceful parts of Dubrovnik, hear the sounds of nature and the city slowly waking up.

End your tour at the 14th-century Eastern gate with the storey of Dubrovnik's medieval fortifications, just in time for you to explore the Old Town's alleys and squares after their morning wash and before the city's hustle and bustle.
