Welcome to Maniace, in an area that is almost uncharted territory for viticulture, where the Nebrodi Mountains meet the influence of the Simeto River and the majesty of Mount Etna. Our winery was founded with a specific goal: to enhance a unique terroir at an altitude of 1,200 metres, through an artisanal approach and the utmost respect for biodiversity.
The Tour of the Heroic Vineyards
Your experience will begin with a guided visit through our vineyards, which are called “heroic” because of the weather conditions and the slopes on which they grow, on clay and limestone soils. We will tell you what it means to be “custodian winegrowers” and how we practice agroecology to preserve this mountain ecosystem.
The Sensory Journey
We will then proceed to the winery and our tasting room for a sensory journey that celebrates the taut elegance and freshness of our wines. You will taste our signature wines, including:
• Our High Mountain Sparkling Wines, born of a unique terroir.
• Chardonnay and Frappato, vinified to express an authentic and vibrant minerality.
Each sip is a liquid narrative of our land, accompanied by small tastings that evoke the authentic flavours of the Nebrodi Mountains.
