We will pick you up at the meeting point in Cusco and set off for the Sacsayhuamán archaeological site, where an exciting balloon ride will take place. First, we will see the process of inflating the craft and watch how the hot air rises and inflates the balloon. Then we will proceed to climb into the basket to ascend to a height of 100 metres for an estimated time of 20 minutes. We will be attached at all times to giant ropes nailed to the ground. We will see the Andean city of Cusco and the Sacsayhuamán fortress, one of the greatest architectural works of the Incas. In addition to serving as a defence during the time of the Spanish conquest, it is believed to have been a place of worship to the Sun god. We will also observe the Pukamuqu mountain and part of the Andes mountain range from a bird's eye view. A unique image that will remain etched in your retinas. When we get off the aircraft, we will toast with a glass of champagne and have a country breakfast to regain our strength. Did you know that the toast after the flight is a tradition? Finally we will return to Cusco.
