Lunch and wine tasting at Quinta do Lodeiro. In Peso da Régua, you will visit the Quinta do Lodeiro, a historic property that combines rustic charm with contemporary comfort. The farm offers an elegant environment with swimming pool, chapel, beautiful gardens where we can find one of the Pombaline landmarks that once delimited the Douro Demarcated Region, as well as its cellars and proof room. Here, we will enjoy a harmonised lunch with a selection of Douro and Porto wines, providing a true immersion in the local flavours. Lunch includes entries, main dish, dessert and coffee. At the end, we will visit the cellars, where we will try Porto wines with 10, 20 and 30 years of ageing.

Eclusa da Barragem da Régua

The Bagaúste Dam is located between the municipalities of Peso da Régua and Lamego, 4 km up from the city of Régua, at km 105 of the Douro navigable road (distance from the river foz). It was inaugurated in 1973. The dam has a displacement of about 27 metres, and it is through its enclosure that the cruise boats that sail between the Régua and the Villa do Pinhão pass. The dam is located along the road N222, which connects Régua to Pinhão, and there is a car park nearby. Here, visitors can park and observe the cruise boats crossing the enclave — a process that can take up to 30 minutes and often attracts many curious people to see the boats pass.
