After a short walk, we will reach the Römerstein, the remnant of a coral reef. You will be provided with a climbing harness and a helmet and, under the supervision of qualified instructors, will be able to climb routes of varying difficulty. Later, you will have the opportunity to rappel down the natural rock face on your own.
About the crag: The Römerstein offers 50 routes ranging in height from 20 to 50 metres (65 to 165 feet) and in difficulty from 3 to 9-, spread across six crags and providing options in every direction. The rock is very compact and, for us climbers, offers a multitude of holds at moderate grades.
