We will start the day by picking you up at your hotels around 7:00 am to head towards Chinchero, a town that is home to Inca constructions and a colonial church with a rich history. We will also have the opportunity to participate in a brief experience at a local textile centre.
After our visit to Chinchero, we will continue towards the impressive circular terraces of Moray, an archaeological site of great importance during the Inca Empire, especially in agriculture.
We will then descend towards the Maras salt mines, a picturesque place known for its landscapes and more than 3,000 salt wells used by the Incas.
For lunch, we will stop in Urubamba to enjoy a buffet. Then, we will continue our tour to Ollantaytambo, famous for being “The Last Living Inca City”.
After exploring Ollantaytambo, we will head to the charming town of Pisac, located on the slopes of Intihuatana Hill, known as “Place where the Sun is moored.”
We will visit the indigenous market of Pisac, ideal for purchasing local crafts, and we will end with a visit to the Pisac Archaeological Park, where we will find impressive Inca ruins and fine stone constructions.
We estimate to return to Cusco around 7:00 pm.
