Meet Banna people at a local market or village and learn about their traditions. When available, witness a traditional Bull Jumping or Evangadi dancing ceremony.

Day 3: Turmi to Omo Rate and Back
Travel to Omo Rate near the Kenya border and cross the Omo River by local dugout canoe. Walk to a Dassanech village for a cultural visit and interaction with the community. Return to Turmi for lunch, then visit a Hamar village and enjoy traditional coffee inside a hut. Market visits and ceremonies depend on the local calendar.

Day 4: Turmi to Kara Korcho Village and Back

    Day 5: Turmi to Konso
Travel to Konso, visiting an Arbore community along the way. Explore the Konso cultural landscape, famous for its impressive terraced farming and traditional villages recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site. See waka wooden statues honouring respected ancestors, heroes, and chiefs.

Day 6: Konso to Arba Minch
Continue to Arba Minch, travelling between Lake Abaya and Lake Chamo. Enjoy a boat excursion on Lake Chamo to look for crocodiles, hippos, and waterbirds. After lunch, visit Dorze Village, known for its distinctive bamboo houses and traditional weaving.
