Know before you book

  • The departure port is the Old Port of Fira, which can be reached either by cable car or via the stairs.

What you can expect

The first port of call is Nea Kameni, the site of an active volcano. Here, you can choose to hike up to the crater. This hike is unguided, so please proceed with caution and be mindful of your safety. Following this, your journey continues to Palea Kameni, famous for its therapeutic hot springs. A dip here is highly recommended, though a word of caution: the sulfur-rich waters might discolour light fabrics.
