Batur Natural Hot Spring Toya Bungkah, also known as Batur Natural Hot Spring Kintamani, is one of Kintamani’s most popular hot spring destinations. The name Toya Bungkah comes from two Balinese words: “Toya” meaning water and “Bungkah” meaning rock, reflecting its natural volcanic origins.
The hot spring water comes from a 635-meter-deep aquifer, emerging at about 50 degrees Celsius. Once it flows into the pools, the temperature naturally cools to a comfortable 37 to 40 degrees Celsius, ideal for soaking—especially in Kintamani’s refreshing mountain climate.
The hot spring water contains beneficial natural minerals known to help relieve bruises, ease rheumatism, support relaxation, and rejuvenate the skin. With no chemical treatment, the experience remains completely natural.
