Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your Cape Town accommodation. Settle into a comfortable vehicle for a scenic drive through the Overberg region towards Gansbaai, one of the world’s top shark cage diving destinations. Enjoy the sunrise and coastal mountain views along the way.
Upon arrival at the dive base, you’ll be welcomed by the crew with a light breakfast and an important safety and procedure briefing. Learn about shark behaviour, conservation, and what to expect during your cage dive.
Board the custom-built shark diving boat and cruise towards the dive site near Dyer Island, known for its Great White Shark activity. Once anchored, you’ll gear up in a wetsuit and hop into the secure surface cage, where you'll witness sharks swimming just metres away. No diving experience is needed, and all gear is provided.
Relax on the drive back to Cape Town, expected in the late afternoon or early evening, depending on sea conditions.
