Kayak along Tenerife’s coast with a high chance of close encounters with iconic marine wildlife known for their intelligence and calm behaviour, often just metres away from the kayak. Limited group sizes – early booking recommended!
No previous experience is needed – the route is suitable for beginners, and the kayaks are stable and easy to handle.
Paddle across calm Atlantic waters while exploring a coastline known for its striking volcanic scenery and rich marine life. This area is one of the most biologically active zones in the Canary Islands, where free-roaming marine animals are frequently seen travelling along the coast. While all wildlife is wild and sightings can never be guaranteed, conditions here offer up to a 90% chance of encounters with some of the ocean’s most loved species, always following strict responsible observation guidelines.
The tour includes a short swim and snorkel stop. In clear waters, you may observe trumpetfish, parrotfish, bream, wrasse, damselfish, barracuda, and rays resting on the sandy seabed.
Free photos and videos are included, so you can relive the experience after your trip. All equipment is provided, including kayaks, snorkelling gear, life jackets, and wetsuits.
This experience follows Canary Islands Turismo Activo standards, ensuring a safe, low-impact, and respectful way to observe wildlife.
Please note: participants must be able to swim to join this activity.
