Take on what has been rated the best one-day hike in New Zealand, the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, at your own pace with a one-way shuttle bus to the start of the trail. Park your car in the free parking area at the end of the Ketetahi Road where the hike finishes so you can depart in your own time afterwards. No need to wait for another shuttle!

You will be picked up and transferred to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing trailhead by the shuttle bus. Then, embark on a 6- to 8-hour hike that offers some challenging climbs and breathtaking views of the Tongariro National Park.

Take the worry out of missing the bus in the afternoon while enjoying the Tongariro Alpine Crossing with a convenient single-trip shuttle to the trailhead. As the hike finishes back in the parking area where you leave your car, you have maximum flexibility to go at your own speed.

Our shuttle is either a 20 seat Toyota Coaster Bus fitted with Aircon and Seatbelts for maximum comfort or our smaller 8 seater 4wd Van.
