Explore villages off the beaten track in Kvemo Kartli. After being picked up from your hotel in Tbilisi, you will be transferred to the village of Tejisi. Go to the St. Nicholas temple with its huge stone fence, then hike to the stone circle of St Constantine's Church, where there is a 3.8 metre high menhir.

Continue to the archaeological settlement of Samshvilde, located in the southern part of Georgia. Samshvilde is known as one of the oldest cities in the Caucasus region and was the centre of a duchy in the 3rd century BC. The city lies on a rocky promontory between the two gorges of the confluence of the Khrami and Chivchavi rivers.

Then, explore the Samshvilde complex with its ruins of the royal city and castle, old streets, tombs, and orthodox churches from the 5th to 17th centuries.
