Overview

Start your ride at Bike Flow and follow the bike path connecting Oaxaca city to Santa María del Tule. After about 20 minutes, veer off onto an easy-to-intermediate XCO MTB trail for 50 minutes, exploring the beautiful Oaxacan countryside as you make your way to Santa María del Tule, home of the largest tree in Mexico.

Once you arrive, the Bike Flow team will share fascinating insights about the Tule Tree, its history, and cultural significance, helping you understand the incredible landmark you’re standing in front of. After the explanation, you’ll have 30 minutes of free time to explore the village and browse its colourful local markets.
For the return ride, we’ll take the bike path all the way back to Oaxaca city, finishing at Bike Flow, completing a 3-hour MTB adventure through scenic and enjoyable trails that showcase the beauty of the region.

For bike flow the must important is your comfort & experience that is why that during the hot season: March–May, you can choose to start at cooler hours (7 am and 4 pm), ideal for arriving for brunch or enjoying the sunset.

Explore the ancient Tule Tree, its charming main plaza, and the surrounding streets, taking in the rich history and local culture. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Tule gastronomic market featuring traditional Oaxacan dishes (meal not included). Tip: Bring cash, as most vendors do not accept cards and there are limited ATMs in the village.
