Departure
Meet at our base. Safety briefing, life jacket fitting, getting to grips with your jet ski. Five minutes later, you're on the water.
The Simpson Bay Lagoon
You enter one of the largest natural lagoons in the Caribbean. The water is flat, turquoise, and sheltered. Luxury yachts bob on the water to your right. The hills of Saint Martin are reflected on your left. You accelerate.
Princess Juliana Airport
Then it happens. A low rumble rising. The air begins to vibrate. And suddenly — a steel monster appears fifty metres above your head. 130 tonnes, roaring engines, landing gear extended. The runway ends a few metres from the waves you are gliding on right now. Nowhere else on Earth will you see this.
Baie Rouge
The engine slows down. In front of you is a crescent of pink sand framed by red cliffs plunging into the sea. No beach club, no music, no crowds. Just the waves, the wind, and in the distance the silhouette of Anguilla on the horizon. You turn off the engine. Silence.
Happy Bay
No one finds this beach by road. You arrive by sea. A wild cove nestled between two hills, ivory sand, crystal clear water, and no infrastructure in sight. The wild beach that Saint Martin keeps to itself. Today, it's yours.
The return
You head back to base, salt on your lips, a smile that's impossible to erase. Two hours. Two sides of the island. Images that stay with you.
