Overview

  • Explore the roughly 225 km Highway 400 corridor between Toronto and Parry Sound in either direction with a self-guided smartphone audio tour. Allow about 2–3 hours of driving, plus time for optional detours to Midland, Wye Marsh, Big Chute, Killbear or Georgian Bay Islands National Park. The app offers 40+ GPS-triggered points of interest and stories about Georgian Bay, Muskoka and Simcoe County.

Download the tour to your own smartphone or tablet before departure. Narration follows your location, and a live route map works offline after download. Drive your own vehicle, pause whenever you like and resume at your own pace; there is no in-person guide. Attraction admission, park permits, boat transport and parking are separate, and access can vary by season.
