Choose an optional visit to Luray Caverns to see stalactites, reflective Dream Lake, and the cave's unusual musical formations. Continue into Shenandoah National Park for a scenic drive along Skyline Drive, stopping at overlooks above the Shenandoah Valley. This small group tour combines underground scenery and Blue Ridge Mountain views in one day.

    Washington D.C. - Luray Caverns (Optional, 120 mins) - Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park [Stony Man Trail (weather permitting, approx. 40 mins return)] - Washington D.C.

    Explore an underground landscape of stalactites, mirrored pools, and the cavern's distinctive musical formations.

    Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park (2 hr)
    Drive along the Blue Ridge ridge line with scenic overlook stops and an easy trail walk when weather permits.

    Stony Man Trail (weather permitting, approx. 40 mins return): Take a short scenic hike to enjoy views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and surrounding Shenandoah Valley.

    Notes:

    Skyline Drive runs through Shenandoah National Park. The tour enters through Thornton Gap Entrance and exits at Front Royal Entrance. The one-way drive takes approximately 2 hours, and returning to the starting point afterwards is not possible. The tour includes scenic mountain driving, one visitor centre, and photo stops at four roadside viewpoints. In case of severe weather, such as heavy fog or rain, the park may be inaccessible.
