Experience one of Slovenia’s most remarkable natural wonders on a private excursion from Ljubljana. Your driver will pick you up directly from your hotel and take you to the spectacular Škocjan Caves, one of Slovenia’s largest and most impressive cave systems, recognised for its unspoiled beauty and unique underground landscapes. As the cave is less visited than some of Slovenia’s other attractions, it offers a more authentic and memorable experience.

Please note that entrance tickets are not included in this tour. Visitors are required to reserve the 10:00 AM cave tour in advance and purchase their tickets separately. Ticket prices vary depending on the month of travel. (You can message us if you can't find 10am entrance and we can arrange different timing trip for you)

All cave visits are conducted with official local guides provided by the cave management. During the tour, your guide will share fascinating insights into the cave’s history, geology, and discovery, making the experience both educational and unforgettable.

The guided cave tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes and includes a considerable number of stairs and walking sections. The temperature inside the cave remains around 10°C (50°F) throughout the year, so we strongly recommend bringing a jacket or warm layer.

After the cave visit, your driver will meet you at the designated meeting point and transfer you comfortably back to your hotel in Ljubljana.
