At around 07:00 a.m., we will leave from the hotels in Salta.

We will travel a road parallel to the railway tracks of the famous Tren de las Nubes, crossing the Quebrada del Toro, where the landscape is a transition between thick vegetation and the appearance of the first cacti; we will observe the outstanding manoeuvres of the Tren de las Nubes, such as the Viaducto del Toro, the zig-zag of Alisal and Chorrillo, knowing places like El Candado, El Gólgota, Alfarcito, among others.

We will visit the pre-Inca city of Santa Rosa de Tastil, one of the most important cities in whose ruins are perfectly distinguishable houses, tombs, and streets. We continue through the Finca La Encrucijada, to begin the ascent to the Cuesta del Muñano and climb in Abra Blanca to reach 4080 metres above sea level. Arrive in San Antonio de los Cobres, the main city of the department of Los Andes, and visit the famous Viaducto de la Polvorilla, 63 metres high.

Approximately at 7:00 p.m., we return to our hotels in Salta.
