What you can expect

  • Venture into Réunion Island's lush rainforest on an intimate small-group hike towards Trou de Fer, one of the island's most spectacular natural viewpoints. The trail winds through ancient cloud forest, home to giant tree ferns, endemic orchids, and birds found nowhere else on Earth, before opening onto sweeping views of waterfalls cascading into a dramatic volcanic gorge.

Led by a locally based, scientifically trained guide, the hike goes beyond the scenery. Discover how this unique ecosystem formed, which species depend on it, and the combination of erosion, rainfall, and volcanic history that carved one of the most striking landscapes in the Indian Ocean.

Kept to a small group, the experience leaves room to ask questions, move at your own pace, and connect more deeply with a rainforest that few visitors ever truly understand.
